Mr. Neil Scharpe serves as the Principal Investigator for the HRSA funded grant that coordinates the North Dakota Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (NDEHDI) Program under the authority of the North Dakota Department of Health. This project has a mission of screening every baby born in ND by one month of age, diagnosing those infants with congenital hearing loss by three months, and providing intervention services at early but not to exceed six months of age.
